After a graduation in oil painting and comic art at the Brussels Royal Academy of Arts I have been working as a photographer for the last 5 years.
All my art revolves around the beauty I find in cities, in elements that often go unnoticed. I try to reveal things by putting them in a different perspective, but not modifying reality. Further to that idea, I never modify elements of a picture, merge different images or ask people to pose. There is in my opinion no need to force beauty, it is already out there.
My three current projects are “Home of Art” where I try to capture the particular atmosphere that reigns in museums around the world, and that provides the elements for art to live and blossom; “Beautiful City” where I present the subtle beauty of urban life, and “New York”: an ever-in-progress work depicting my favorite city.
Aside from those personal projects, I work with architects and interior designers to bring their projects and creations into the visual world.
